A heartfelt thank you to all the guests who made this a very special 7th season! We continue to feel the delicious after-glow of welcoming so many returnees and meeting numerous new guests from a long list of countries. While the Inn season ends October 31, our Genius Loci olive harvest (which ended later than usual this year) and the shipping of the new oil to our valued Club members, marks the “real” end to each season.
We thank our Oil and Wine Lovers’ Club members, many of whom are new this year, for your enthusiastic support of our efforts in producing the highest quality extra virgin olive oil and the finest DOCG wines…and we thank each and every one of our treasured guests for choosing Genius Loci Umbria!
Because Maurizio and I now live in the house above on the Inn property, we were able to be more present at Genius Loci. It was wonderful for me to be able to work so closely with Michael, to observe first-hand his remarkable management style and his attentive dedication to our guests.
We pride ourselves on our personal attention to your needs and desires. This attention begins with our personal reservations system in which we exchange many emails with you, answering questions, providing requested advice and forwarding useful information. When you arrive at Genius Loci we have a feeling of already knowing you due to our often copious correspondence. We are a family run Inn – we want you to feel at home and special during your stay with us. Your satisfaction is our top priority.
2014 is just around the corner…we look forward to another season of guests with whom to share the magic and very essence of Umbria, the timeless landscape and the genuine experience of our corner of the world.
